Sole Material Specification 
N Nitrile Sole Nitrile rubber is a synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene.  It is used in the protective industry due to its resistance to fuel and oils.  Nitrile rubber is more resistant than natural rubber to oils and acids, but has inferior strength and flexibility and has greater puncture-resistance than natural rubber.
PU Polyurethane (PU) Sole Polyurethane is a synthetic soling material. It is flexible and lightweight. Resistant to 130°C heat, oil, low concentration acids/alkalis and solvents.
R Rubber Sole The material generally identified as rubber is actually vulcanised caoutchouc. Caoutchouc is produced from the latex sap collected from caoutchouc trees. Because unvulcanised caoutchouc breaks when cold and stinks when warm, it is vulcanised which also makes it into a durable raw material. Resistant to 200°C heat, oil, low concentration acids/alkalis and solvents.* (* If marked HRO then 300°c)
VR Vulcanised Rubber Sole Vulcanisation is a chemical process for converting rubber or related polymers into more durable materials. Heat and pressure cause the rubber to crosslink and expand which fully vulcanises the sole. The sole is moulded into a very specific outer sole shape.
DD Dual Density PU Sole Polyurethane is a synthetic soling material. With dual density, you are given an inner foam layer and harder outer layer to ensure comfort and durability. Resistant to 200°C heat, oil, low concentration acids/alkalis and solvents.* (* If marked HRO then 300°c)
PVC PVC Sole Polyvinyl Chloride is a water resistant polymer resistant to minerals, vegetable oil and fats, animal by-product, manure, disinfectants and various chemicals. Resistant to 90°C heat, oil, low concentration acids/alkalis and solvents.
PVN PVC/Nitrile Sole Polyvinyl Chloride is combined with the tough rigid material Nitrile to produce a harder wearing sole unit. Resistant to 100°C heat, oil, low concentration acids/alkalis and solvents
PH Phylon Sole Phylon is made of compressed ethylene vinyl acetate foam pellets that is expanded by heat and cooled in a mould. This provides the wearer light, flexible and resilient cushioning.
RPH Rubber/Phylon Sole Phylon is made of compressed ethylene vinyl acetate foam pellets that is expanded by heat and cooled in a mould. EVA is combined with rubber in the midsole for its light, flexible and resilient cushioning.
RPU Rubber outsole/PU Interlayer Rubber and polyurethane combining to ensure a hardwearing comfortable light sole.
TPU Thermo Plastic Urethane (TPU) Sole TPU provides a softer, more flexible material for high quality unit soles in hiking boots and safety footwear. TPU offers superior wear resistance and abrasion resistance.

How to place an order for a custom logo item from Logo Direct

Select the size of the first garment you wish to purchase

Select the colour of your first garment (the colour selection drop down will also allow you to view each colour as a preview image when you select any colour option from the drop down menu)

Select which type of logo you would like applied to each position on the garment, we offer up to 3 options per garment, Chest, Sleeve & Back and Printed or Embroidered options for all 3 logo positions if required.

Once your position & logo application type has been selected you can click on the “upload a logo” red button to upload your chosen design to our system.

We offer the option to have up to 3 different logos if required but if the logo is the same for more than 1 logo position please just upload the file once and select the different logo positions. Once your order has been received we will provide you a proof and confirmation of positions for you to sign off before production starts.

Once your first selection is complete click the “Add to Cart” button at the bottom of the product page and the items will be added to your checkout cart.

If you need to order more size options click the “Continue Shopping” button on the pop up screen and this will allow you to add more sizes colours etc to your order.

If the logo image required for the rest of your order is the same as the first items added to your cart then you only need to select and pay for the logo placement, no additional files need to be uploaded.

If however your logos are different then the “Upload a Logo” button can be used to add different logos to your new items if required.

When you're finished adding all of your items to your basket you will then be required to select from a list of 3 options before completing the order:

Proceed & Buy Blank Garments (use this option when no customisation or logos are required with your purchase)

New Logo Set Up For Print or Embroidery (use this option to create a one off charge of £15 and set up of your logo which can be used each time you place an order with us)

Use a previously uploaded logo (use this option when you have allready set up your logo with us and simply wnat to reorder using the same logo details we will have on file, when you select this option we will contact you to confirm the logo details before proceeding with any print or embroisery work)  

Once your order has been received we will start to work on the proofs for your art work and one of our design specialists will be in touch to ensure that your items and logo’s are exactly what you expect.
